A native of Detroit, Michigan, Chanel’s passion for music ignited at the tender age of 3 when she began playing the drums. Her musical journey was nurtured both at church and home, where her parents introduced her to a diverse array of musical genres. Now residing in Jacksonville, FL, Chanel leads her own band and company, WHiM Band. As a versatile singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Chanel has an impressive portfolio. She has toured Europe and Alaska with the B.B. King Blues All-Star Tribute Band under the Holland America Line (HAL Cruise Line). Additionally, she captivated audiences as the character “Maria” in Broadway’s Six: The Musical on Norwegian Cruise Line. Chanel’s talent has seen her share the stage with renowned artists such as Sheila E. and Jeffrey Osborne, among others across various genres. Most recently, she has been touring with the Rolling Stone Rock Room on HAL cruises, further solidifying her reputation as a dynamic and accomplished music director and performer.
